"The pigeons are not the subject of this work; they are the lens. By placing a creature of pure instinct into our most complex and arbitrary ceremonies, the rituals themselves are laid bare, their inherent absurdity magnified. The 'Coo'detat' is therefore not a takeover by a new species, but a takeover of perception—a forced re-examination of our own world. Through this surreal reflection, I document the quiet, unsettling strangeness of the human condition, one mundane ceremony at a time."
